Nick Nolte honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Golden Globe-winning actor Nick Nolte, who can be seen on the EPIX comedy Graves, was honored Monday with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On-hand for the event were Nolte's wife, Clytie Lane, daughter Sophie Nolte, son Brawley Nolte, daughter-in-law Navi Rawat and granddaughter. Gavin O'Connor, who directed Nolte in the film Warriors, also helped the actor celebrate the milestone achievement.

"Nick Nolte is a Hollywood favorite and we are thrilled to dedicate his star on our iconic Walk of Fame," Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.

Nolte, 76, is known for his work in the movies Affliction, The Prince of Tides, 48 Hrs., Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The Deep, Cape Fear and Tropic Thunder.
