Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Rosie O'Donnell says she's "in love" with her new, much younger girlfriend.

The 55-year-old television personality discussed her new romance and the possibility of marriage on Monday's episode of The Howard Stern Show in the wake of ex-wife Michelle Rounds' death.

"I am [in love], actually, yes," O'Donnell confirmed. "It's the first time I've dated someone younger than me and it's a very trippy thing. 22 years [younger]. She's 32, 33."

"I get along so well with her, it's kind of fascinating. There hasn't really been [a disconnect]," she said. "The one thing she doesn't know is [Barbra] Streisand. I made her watch Funny Girl -- she's like, 'Oh, it's good.' I'm like, 'Come on!'"

O'Donnell told host Howard Stern she doesn't plan to tie the knot again. She split from Rounds, her second wife, in November 2014 after less than two years of marriage, and finalized the divorce in October 2015.

"I will not [marry again], ever," the star declared. "I think that for me, being 55, I just think I would rather stay in it for love and not have to deal with lawyers if God forbid, it shouldn't work out."

News of O'Donnell's romance follows Rounds' death by suicide at age 46 on Sept. 11. O'Donnell, who described her relationship with Rounds as "troubled" in the interview, previously addressed her ex-wife's death in a statement to People.

"I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle's family, her wife and their child," she said in September.
