Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Google is celebrating Halloween 2017 with a new Doodle that features an animated short about a lonely ghost named Jinx.

The video, which can be played from the Google logo on their website, follows Jinx as he tries to find the perfect Halloween costume to join a group of kids who are out trick-or-treating.

"If it isn't the witches, werewolves, or goblins that haunt us every Halloween, it's the ghastly task of deciding what to wear! Do the spooky creatures of the night face a similar ordeal? Today's Doodle checks in on Jinx, the lonely ghost, who embarks on a mission to find the perfect costume -- and a place to belong," reads the synopsis.

After dressing up as a witch, a mummy and even an ice cream cone to mixed results, Jinx dresses up as a ghost when he discovers that just being himself was enough to join the group of friends.

Google also shared concept art from the video and showed how they were able to animate different scenes.

The short features Momo the cat who was featured in Google's interactive Halloween Doodle for 2016. The Doodle had users take control of Momo as she saves the Magic Cat Academy from evil ghosts.
