Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Pretty Little Liars alum Janel Parrish got engaged to her boyfriend this week.
The 28-year-old actress, who played Mona Vanderwaal on the Freeform series, said "yes" to Chris Long during an outing Monday in Toronto, Canada.
"Went to the park for a stroll with Klee and came back with a fiancé," she captioned a photo of herself kissing her beau. "I get to marry my best friend and I'm over the moon. I love you @c_long."
Parrish later showed off her engagement ring in an Instagram video. The ring, designed by Jean Dousset, features an enormous diamond and a pavé band with pink stones.
"I can't stop staring at it. I mean... @jeandousset you out did yourself," she wrote. "And @c_long you did GOOD."
Long said on his account that he and Parrish celebrated by visiting Ripley's Aquarium of Canada. He previously told his followers he was "the happiest" after celebrating his first anniversary as a couple with Parrish in September.
"Year one down. The happiest. Can't wait for what's to come @janelparrish," he wrote Sept. 3.
Pretty Little Liars came to a close in June after a seven-season run. Parrish will reprise Mona on the forthcoming spinoff The Perfectionists, and will also appear in the movies Until We Meet Again, Tiger and The Purple Rose.
