Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Imperial commander Iden Versio wants to crush the Rebellion in the latest trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II that explores the games single-player story mode.

The clip, released Thursday, begins with narration from Imperial ruler The Emperor speaking with Versio about how she needs to ignite the inferno and burn the Rebellion to the ground.

Versio's misson becomes complicated, however, following the death of The Emperor and the destruction of the second Death Star as seen in Return of the Jedi.

In her retaliation, Versio is seen destroying Rebel bases, ships during epic space battles and even confronting Luke Skywalker. Other Star Wars characters that make appearances include Princess Leia, Maz Kanata and Kylo Ren.

"The Empire's time has come," Versio says confidently.

The single-player campaign is featured in the game in addition to the sprawling multiplayer mode that spans all three eras of Star Wars films and supports up to 40-player battles.

Star Wars Battlefront II is set to be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 17.
