Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Jennifer Morrison has traded her signature blonde hair for red.
The 38-year-old actress showed off her fiery new locks Tuesday on Instagram prior to attending the Tribeca Chanel Women's Filmmaker Program luncheon.
"#red by @riawna !!! She's did it again. Thank you ri-ri! You are always magical!" Morrison captioned a photo of her tresses on Instagram.
"On my way to @Tribeca, @TribecaFilmIns, and @CHANEL's 2017 #ThroughHerLens women's filmmaker program!" she added.
Morrison followed up with pictures of her red carpet look. She attended the event in a black dress and a white Chanel blouse featuring a delicate logo print.
"Thank you to @kemal_harris and @kimbower for this look today for @chanelofficial and @tribeca! On my way for round 2 now :) #busyday #onlythebrave," the star wrote.
Morrison previously went red for a movie role in 2012, and had brown hair while starring on House. She said in an interview with Allure in 2012 that it's "easiest" for her to embrace her naturally blonde hair.
"My roots are light enough that all I have to do is just highlight my hair every few months," she told the magazine. "When my hair was dark for House, that was the hardest to maintain because it was like every three weeks my light roots would start coming in."
Morrison is also known for playing Emma Swan on Once Upon a Time, which returned for a seventh season this month. The actress starred in the first six seasons, and will appear as a guest in the new season.
