Oct. 4 (UPI) -- Amazon Studios shared the first footage from Woody Allen's upcoming film Wonder Wheel.

The trailer takes place in 1950s Coney Island where Kate Winslet stars as Ginny, an actress-turned-waitress whose husband Humpty, portrayed by Jim Belushi, is reunited with his estranged daughter Carolina, played by Juno Temple, seeking refuge from the mafia.

Justin Timberlake also stars as Mickey, a lifeguard and aspiring playwright, who sparks up an affair with Ginny.

Wonder Wheel was announced in July as the start of Amazon's move to self-distribute its own films and is set to release on Dec. 1.

The film is the third project Allen has made for Amazon after the feature film Cafe Society and the Amazon web series, Crisis in Six Scenes.
