Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Madonna joined Amy Schumer onstage at Comedy Cellar in New York City to make her stand-up debut.
The 59-year-old singer shared a photo of her self alongside Schumer at the New York comedy club on Tuesday night.

"And the next minute I was tagging along with Amy Schumer at Comedy Cellar," Madonna wrote. "Making my stand-up debut!"
Schumer also shared a photo of Madonna's performance and jokingly praised the club for giving the unknown comedian a chance.
"We'd like to thank Comedy Cellar for taking a chance on our new act," she wrote.
Guests at the club reported other high profile acts also made appearances that night including Aziz Ansari, Jon Stewart, Louis C.K. and Pete Holmes.
