Sept. 24 (UPI) -- Irish actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers and his wife Mara Lane attended the Boston Film Festival this weekend.

The public appearance came nearly two weeks after Lane confirmed Meyers recently relapsed in his alcohol addiction following her miscarriage of their second child. She said in a social media post that Meyers is once again getting help. The couple, who married in 2016 after two years of dating, have a son named Wolf, who will turn 1 in December.

"J has asked me to thank Robin and @bostonfilmfestival for having us and #DamascusCover. Also thank you for his best actor award. Thank you those who came out to support. Official theatre release is in March so will remind others who may be interested then. *Really lovely to meet some of you. Boston you are so beautiful! Thank you for hosting us Boston Harbor Hotel. #beautifulcity #WeLoveBoston," Lane said in an Instagram post Saturday.

The message accompanied a red-carpet photo of Meyers with Daniel Berk, the director of his film Damascus Cover, which screened at the festival.

The festival also posted a photo on Instagram, along with the message: "Damascus Cover Q&A with author Howard Kaplan, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Director Daniel Berk #bostonfilmfest17."
