Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Publisher Activision has released the first cinematic trailer for their next entry in their long-running Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: WWII.

The clip, released Monday, follows a number of U.S. soldiers including main character Ronald "Red" Daniels as they take the fight to German forces across Europe.

Intense action and battles full of tanks and aerial assaults are shown along with scenes of Jewish people being taken to concentration camps.

"Call of Duty: WWII tells the story of Private Ronald "Red" Daniels, a young recruit in the U.S. First Infantry Division who experiences combat for the first time on D-Day, one of the largest amphibious assaults in history. After surviving the beaches of Normandy, Red and his squad will fight their way across Europe, engaging the enemy in iconic battle locations such as the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, as they make their way into Germany," reads the synopsis.

Call of Duty: WWII which will also include the series signature competitive multiplayer mode, is to release for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 3.
