People reported Locklear was transported to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, where she was treated for "minor" and non-threatening injuries.

Police didn't give a cause for the crash, but did say no drugs or alcohol were involved. Locklear was not cited for the incident.

Locklear has kept a low profile this year since announcing she was "working on tying up some loose ends." She said as much in a statement to E! News in January, amid reports she had entered rehab for the fifth time.

"I am feeling great and taking steps to enrich and better my life," the star said at the time. "Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead."

Locklear is known for playing Stacy Sheridan on T.J. Hooker, Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place and Caitlin Moore on Spin City. She presently portrays First Lady Katelynn Christian on the TLC series Too Close to Home.
