Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Brian Austin Green says he doesn't mind if his son Noah wears dresses.

The 44-year-old actor discussed Noah, his eldest son with wife Megan Fox, in an interview with Hollywood Pipeline after the 4-year-old was spotted in Snow White and Frozen costumes this year.

"My son, he's four," Green told host Dax Holt. "I've heard from some people that they don't agree. They don't agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, 'I don't care.'"

"He's four and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it," he explained. "It's dresses or goggles or slippers, whatever. It's his life. They're not my clothes."

"At four, at five, that's a time when he should be having fun," the star added. "He's not harming anyone [by] wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, good on him."

Noah has dressed up as Snow White and as Elsa from Frozen, in addition to wearing everyday dresses. Social media users criticized Fox after she posted a photo of her son in a dress over the summer.

"It's clear that Megan Fox wanted a daughter but got a son instead, so she makes him dress like a girl," one person tweeted.

"Your boy MUST be a MAN, what a shameful time to grow up," another person wrote on Instagram.
