Selena Gomez shares dinner date photo with The Weeknd

Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Selena Gomez shared on Instagram Monday a new photo of herself and The Weeknd enjoying a dinner date together.

The uncaptioned photo features Gomez smiling to the camera inside a restaurant while The Weeknd looks off into the distance.

The new photo comes after Gomez's Instagram account was recently taken over by hackers who used the account to post nude photos of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber. Gomez then reclaimed her Instagram account after initially deactivating it and has deleted the photos.

Gomez, 25, and The Weeknd, 27, were first linked together in January before they made their relationship official in April. "I'm genuinely myself," she said in June of how she feels around her new boyfriend.
