Lil Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter says dad is 'doing fine' after hospitalization

Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Reginae Carter, the daughter of Lil Wayne, has given a health update on her father on Twitter following reports that the rapper was hospitalized over the weekend.

"My dad is doing fine everyone ! Thanks for the concerns," Carter wrote Monday. "You guys are amazing."

"Oh yeah .. & don't believe everything you hear," she continued in a second tweet.

Wayne's publicist announced that the 34-year-old was hospitalized Sunday after suffering from multiple seizures.

TMZ reported that Wayne who is epileptic, was found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room and transported to Northwestern Memorial where he was treated.

Wayne was scheduled to perform Sunday in Las Vegas and was replaced by fellow rapper T.I. Wayne was previously hospitalized in June 2016 after suffering two seizures while on his private jet.
