Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Ashlee Simpson posted a kiss photo while celebrating three years of marriage with Evan Ross this week. The 32-year-old singer shared the picture and a sweet message to the 29-year-old actor on their third wedding anniversary Thursday.

"Happy Anniversary my love," Simpson captioned the snapshot on Instagram.
"It has been the best 3 years of my life," she gushed. "I love knowing that I get to wake up next to you for the rest of my life. Thanks for giving me the best love."
Ross marked the occasion by posting a series of photos from his wedding to Simpson. He and the singer tied the knot at the Connecticut home of his mom, singer Diana Ross, in 2014.
"Happy Anniversary My LOVE. Its been 3 years today!! Im truly the LUCKIEST MAN alive!!" the actor wrote.
"I look forward to spending everyday with you for the rest of my life!" he added. "Thank you for all the love you have given me! I love you so so much."
Simpson, the younger sister of singer and designer Jessica Simpson, shares 2-year-old daughter Jagger with Ross. She is also parent to 8-year-old son Bronx with ex-husband Pete Wentz.
"He's like a professional big brother, and he's got it down," the star said of Bronx in an interview with AOL in 2015 following Jagger's birth. "He can calm her down and tell her it's okay, entertain her and dance with her."
