'Veep' star Reid Scott expecting second son

Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Veep star Reid Scott is going to be a dad of two.

The 39-year-old actor said Tuesday at the Los Angeles premiere of Home Again that wife Elspeth Keller is "almost five months" pregnant with a baby boy.

"We're very excited," he told People on the red carpet. "She's about halfway, so I guess we're about almost five months pregnant. We're having another little boy."

Scott and Keller married at Maguire Gardens in Los Angeles in June 2014, and welcomed their first child, son Conrad, in March 2015.

"We're excited to make a little brother for our son," the actor said of Conrad, whom he described as a "little chubby teddy bear."

"He's going to be a great big brother. If he doesn't kill his little brother within the first six weeks, then we're going to be great," he jokingly added.

Scott will appear alongside Reese Witherspoon, Nat Wolff and Michael Sheen in Home Again, which opens in theaters Sept. 8. The romantic comedy is directed by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, the daughter of director Nancy Meyers, who produced the film.

Scott, who plays Dan Egan on Veep, will also appear with Veep co-star Matt Walsh in the new film Under the Eiffel Tower. He posted a photo with Walsh from set this month after wrapping filming on the movie.
