Lea Michele says she's 'grateful' for new beau Zandy Reich

Aug. 28 (UPI) -- Lea Michele was feeling "grateful" for new beau Zandy Reich over the weekend.

The 30-year-old actress dedicated a sweet post to Reich on Sunday ahead of her 31st birthday Aug. 29.

"Last year, in this same spot, on this same day, you told me 30 was going to be the best year of my life.. it was," Michele captioned a photo of herself and Reich looking out at the ocean.

"So much to be grateful for, but mostly you.. got a feeling 31 is going to be even better... [love] u Z," she added.

Michele and Reich were first linked in July after they were spotted holding hands in New York. Reich, the president of women's clothing company AYR, is reportedly a longtime friend of the actress.

"They've been friends for a long time, a few years," a source told People at the time. "Things turned romantic recently and they're dating now."

"[They've] known each other for a while now," an insider added to Us Weekly. "They met a few years ago and she's a fan of the clothing line."

Michele previously dated Matthew Paetz, Robert Buckley and her late Glee co-star, Cory Monteith. She paid tribute to Monteith on the fourth anniversary of the actor's death in July.

"Hard to believe it's been 4 years ... We miss you C ... love you more," the star wrote.
