'iCarly' alum Nathan Kress expecting daughter

Aug. 15 (UPI) -- iCarly alum Nathan Kress is going to have a daughter.

The 24-year-old actor announced in an Instagram post Sunday that wife London Kress is pregnant with a baby girl.

"You can find me on my porch, in my rocking chair, polishing my shotgun, for the next 18 to 40 years," he jokingly captioned a photo of himself holding an "It's a Baby Girl!" balloon.

London shared a similar picture and an update on her pregnancy on her own account. The actress and stuntwoman, also 24, told fans not to worry about her slim figure.

"The baby and I are completely healthy! Our appt. last week confirmed that we are both on the perfect track for weight gain, heart rates, size -- in fact she's a week ahead of schedule right now, growing like crazy," London wrote.

"I have 100% not strived to be skinny, but I AM striving to be healthy," she said. "I know some may have seemed concerned about my size/baby's size in my mid-pregnancy photo, but I hope this helps ease some minds :) We all have unique body types, and this just happens to be mine right now!"

Kress had announced London's pregnancy during a trip to London, England, in July, writing, "Baby Kress, arriving Jan 2018!" The actor played Freddie Benson on iCarly, and has since appeared on Sam & Cat, Growing Up Fisher and Hawaii Five-0.
