Val Chmerkovskiy, Jenna Johnson get close during dance class

Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Celebrity couple Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson got close on the dance floor this week.

Chmerkovskiy, 31, and Johnson, 23, showed off their chemistry while teaching at Dancerpalooza dance festival Wednesday in Long Beach, Calif.

Johnson re-posted a video from Dancerpalooza that shows her and Chmerkovskiy leading a group of students in a choreographed dance. She and Chmerkovskiy were all smiles as they cozied up during the routine.

"Today's class with @iamvalc at @dancerpalooza #TeamPlayback," Johnson captioned the clip. "The talent was incredible!!"

"Had a blast teaching these incredible minds at @dancerpalooza today for #TeamPlayBack," Chmerkovskiy added on his own account.

The Dancing with the Stars pros shared another sweet moment this week while Johnson was feeling under the weather. The dancer posted a photo Sunday of herself snuggling Chmerkovskiy on a bench.

"Because he takes care of me when I'm sicker than a dog," she wrote.

Chmerkovskiy and Johnson met on Dancing with the Stars in 2014, and were first linked in February 2016. Chmerkovskiy later dated Amber Rose, but reunited with Johnson in June for a trip to Europe.

"I love to love," Chmerkovskiy told Entertainment Tonight in December 2015. "I just have to find somebody to love."
