July 27 (UPI) -- Celebrity mom Selma Blair celebrated her son's sixth birthday this week.
The 45-year-old actress shared new photos of Arthur Saint, her son with ex-partner Jason Bleick, on his birthday Tuesday.

"Happy sixth!! Birthday! #arthursaint you have my heart. You are my light," she captioned a picture of Arthur with his birthday cupcake.
Blair followed up Wednesday by posting a bare-faced selfie with her son. The star celebrated her 45th birthday in June.
"Both of us. Makeup free. And he has the selfie pose down. #thisis45," she wrote.
Blair split from Bleick in 2012 after two years of dating, but appeared friendly with the fashion designer during a trip to Mexico over Father's Day weekend in June 2016. She discussed the difficulties of being a single parent in an interview the same month.
"Being a single mom, at first it's a very challenging thing," Blair told People. "But to have that much time with him, just the two of us, has been an incredible life-changing experience. And I do not take it lightly -- my gratitude."
"He gives me lots of hugs and kisses and tells me he hopes I live a long time, even though I'm old," she joked. "That's his new thing to say before bed. We say our prayers, and then he says, 'I hope Mommy lives a long time, even though she's so old.'"
"I love him within an inch of his life," the star said. "In this past year I've really had to be strong about [having boundaries]. Because we're buddies, we live in the same house. But no: 'We're not buddies. I'm your mom, and I'm here to teach you.'"
Blair is known for the films Cruel Intentions and Legally Blonde, and recently portrayed Kris Jenner in American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson. She will next star in the movie Mom and Dad with Nicolas Cage.
