July 24 (UPI) -- Lena Dunham says she and partner Jack Antonoff haven't married yet.

The 31-year-old actress shut down speculation Monday after calling Antonoff's sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, her "sister-in-law" in a new post.

"I've called [Rachel] that for years. No ring," she responded to a fan in the comments.

The Girls creator made the "in-law" remark while captioning a photo of herself wearing one of Rachel's designs.

"My sister in law @rachelantonoff made this dress. As a designer, she had more wit, style and political awareness than anyone in the game," she wrote. "Pretty lucky she's in my family and required to dress me in fine, fine linen. This art teacher chic look has me ready for a week of macaroni necklaces and protest!"

Dunham and Antonoff, a 33-year-old musician, got close in a new photo Saturday. The actress posted a picture of herself and Antonoff wearing striped shirts as they enjoyed a relaxing moment in bed.

"The couple that stripes together stays together," she captioned the snapshot.

Dunham and Antonoff have been together since 2012. The actress told PrideSource in 2016 that she wants her wedding to Antonoff to be an intimate ceremony with Rachel and her own sister, Grace Dunham.

"Jack and I have talked about it and we've always said that when we get married we want our wedding party to just be our two sisters in tuxedos," she said. "Jack has a straight sister, I have a queer sister; they'd be our best men/women and we'll call it a day. That's our dream."
