After making their escape, former police officer David Videcette went after the thieves in his car and upon his return noticed Radcliffe attending to the victim.

"It was a bit of the surreal moment, I said 'you're Daniel Radcliffe' and he replied 'I am,'" Videcette shared with the Evening Standard.

"He was a really nice bloke, a lot of stars wouldn't have stopped to help," he continued before noting that the victim was "very, very shaken up."

A spokeswoman for Radcliffe confirmed that the Harry Potter star was present at the scene of the crime. Police are continuing to investigate the robbery with no arrests made.
