Amber Rose on dating 21 Savage: 'We're perfect for each other'

July 10 (UPI) -- Amber Rose thinks new boyfriend 21 Savage is "perfect" for her.

The 33-year-old television personality shared a photo Sunday of herself in bed with 21 Savage and gushed about the 24-year-old rapper, born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, in the caption.

"It's pretty amazing waking up every morning feeling love like this," Rose wrote. "I've cried endlessly and been hurt a lot in my life, I've been abused, talked to like I wasn't [expletive], been gaslighted and Slut shamed by men that I once loved and cared about. So I'm so thankful that God brought this amazing person in my life who genuinely has my back and is ready to 'pull up' to defend my honor by any means."

"Maybe he's just as broken as me and that's why we're perfect for each other but either way he's not going anywhere and neither am I," she added.

Rose confirmed her relationship with 21 Savage last week by sharing a kiss with the rapper on Instagram Stories. The couple were first linked this month after 21 Savage shared a since-deleted video of a loving conversation with Rose.

"It's so crazy how the world don't really know how good of a person you are and how you love and nurture people," the rapper said in the clip. "I'm happy I met you."

"Thank you, baby," Rose responded. "I'm happy I met you, too, baby. So happy I met you."

Rose shares 4-year-old son Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa. The 29-year-old rapper, who is dating model Izabela Guedes, told TMZ in an interview published Monday that he approves of Rose's new relationship.

"I think he's a good guy," Khalifa said of 21 Savage. "He's a good kid, everything I know about him."
