"No no no!!!! I can NOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!!!! Please wake me from this nightmare @StevieRyan I loved you and will forever miss you!" Bell captioned a photo of himself and Ryan at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards.

"This is too much. My heart is crushed. @StevieRyan I love you and miss you..." he added.

The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office confirmed Ryan died of suicide by hanging. The star had said on the June 28 episode of her Mentally Ch(ill) podcast that she was grieving her grandfather's recent death.

"It's the hardest thing that I've actually ever dealt with with in my entire life," she confessed. "And I'm sorry to get so emotional on here but it just sucks and I will miss him forever."

"This is just a part of life but I'm just worried this is gonna send me into a deeper depression," the star added. "Or maybe it'll take me out of my depression a little bit to see that life is short and we just don't actually have as much time as we think we do with people we love and care about."
