John Stamos to host 'A Capitol Fourth' special for PBS

July 4 (UPI) -- Actor and musician John Stamos is to host Tuesday's A Capitol Fourth concert in Washington D.C.

The show is to air live on PBS from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol from 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Scheduled to take the stage during the Independence Day celebration are The Beach Boys, The Blues Brothers, The Four Tops, Trace Adkins, Kellie Pickler, Yolanda Adams, Mark McGrath and Sam Moore.

The event will also include a fireworks display and performances by the National Symphony Orchestra, Choral Arts Society of Washington, the U.S. Army Band, the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets and the U.S. Army Presidential Salute Battery.
