Report: Quentin Tarantino engaged to Daniela Pick

July 2 (UPI) -- Hollywood filmmaker Quentin Tarantino reportedly is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Israeli singer Daniela Pick.

"It's true, we're very happy and very excited," Pick told Ynetnews.com, confirming Tarantino proposed to her Friday in Los Angeles.

People magazine said Tarantino, 54, and Pick, 33, have been dating off and on since 2009. They met in Israel when Tarantino was promoting his World War II picture, Inglorious Basterds.

Tarantino's other films include Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill, Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight.
