June 6 (UPI) -- The SpongeBob Squarepants musical will debut on Broadway Nov. 6.
Tickets go on sale June 26.
Inspired by the long-running animated television series, the stage show will feature songs by Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Yolanda Adams, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Lady Antebellum, Alex Ebert, The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Cyndi Lauper, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T's, They Might Be Giants, T.I. and David Bowie.
Tina Landau is directing the musical. No casting has been announced.
