John Legend's daughter reacts to his TIME 100 cover: 'Da da!'

April 27 (UPI) -- John Legend's daughter knows her "da da" when she sees him.

The 38-year-old singer's wife, model Chrissy Teigen, shared an adorable video Wednesday of 1-year-old daughter Luna responding to seeing Legend's TIME 100 cover.

"Who's that?" Teigen asked her daughter in the Snapchat clip. Luna reacted by saying "Da da!" and reaching out and grabbing the magazine.

Legend and Teigen stepped out Tuesday to the TIME 100 gala, where the singer was honored and performed a medley of songs. The couple married in Como, Italy, in 2013, and welcomed Luna in April 2016.

"It's beautiful," Legend said Tuesday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert of holding Luna for the first time. "It's very emotional, and it brings you and your wife closer together. It's a very powerful feeling to see the product of your love right there in front of you."

Legend last released the album Darkness and Light in December. He will promote the record on a tour of the same name, and told People this week he's taking Teigen and Luna with him on the road.

"I'm excited that we're in the position where we can bring [Luna] on tour this summer and late spring," the star said. "I'm in a position where we can make things happen to make sure she's around us as much as possible."
