April 14 (UPI) -- Victoria Beckham has trademarked the name of her five-year-old daughter Harper Seven Beckham with European and British authorities.

The move turns Harper's name into an intellectual property and protects her name from being used in the entertainment industry from music, television and film, the Independent reported.

Victoria will hold the rights to her daughter's name as parent and guardian until Harper turns 18 where she can then collect royalties from her name being used as a brand for products such as toys, make-up, books and clothes.

Victoria's three other children whom she shares with husband David Beckham including Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 12, have also had their names trademarked.

Harper is named after Harper Lee, the author of Victoria's favorite book To Kill A Mockingbird and David's squad number while he played for Manchester United.
