March 21 (UPI) -- Commissioner Stephanie McMahon kicked off Raw Monday by firing general manger Mick Foley following his assault on her husband Triple H last week.

McMahon confronted Foley in the ring after the Hardcore Legend went off the script from a set of index cards he was given to announce that he was taking a leave of absence.

As Foley began to rant about the established authority, his microphone was cut off and he was then subsequently fired on air by McMahon.

"You don't care about what's best for business, you can't even make the tough decisions Mick," McMahon yelled. "So therefore I'm going to have to do it for you. And there's something I've been wanting to say for a very long time. Mick Foley, I've got two words for ya, YOU'RE FIRED!"

Following the verbal confrontation, Sami Zayn protested McMahon's decision but was then thrown into a match against Samoa Joe in which he lost. Other superstars, including Cesaro and Sheamus, said their farewells to Foley backstage.

In the main event, Roman Reigns battled Braun Strowman once again in a hard-hitting bout that ended prematurely due to the sudden appearance of The Undertaker.

Reigns seemingly had the match won as he set up The Gift of Destruction for the Spear when The Undertaker appeared in the middle of the ring to stare down The Big Dog ahead of their match at WrestleMania.

The Phenom then Choke Slammed Strowman which gave Reigns the opening to Spear The Undertaker.

As Reigns headed to the back, the laid out Undertaker then bolted upright to show that Reigns would need to do more to stop the living legend.

Also on Raw, Triple H announced that he would face the injured Seth Rollins at WrestleMania if The Architect will sign next week a Hold Harmless Agreement which would prevent him from taking any legal action against the WWE should he sustain any further injuries.

The agreement will guarantee that Triple H and Rollins meet at WrestleMania in a Non-Sanctioned Match.

Other highlights included Charlotte Flair defeating her former protege Dana Brooke, Chris Jericho revealing that Kevin Owens used to be a fan of his as a teenager on The Highlight Reel, Nia Jax defeating Women's Champion Bayley to add herself to the Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania and Cesaro & Sheamus defeating Raw Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Enzo Amore & Big Cass to retain their spot in the Raw Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania.
