March 6 (UPI) -- Jamie Lynn Spears has taken to social media to share a photo of her daughter Maddie Aldridge and niece Kylie Blair one month after Maddie's ATV accident.

"A month ago, at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right infront of my eyes, helplessly," Spears wrote on Instagram Sunday alongside a photo of the 8-year-old holding her baby cousin.

"Fastforward- Today, we were able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair. I'm not one to preach, but we were shown God's grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy," she continued.

"I'll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created. We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y'all, and God's unbelievable mercy. #Godisgood."

Maddie nearly drowned and remained unconscious for two days after she accidentally drove an ATV into a pond while trying to avoid a ditch on Spears and stepdad Jamie Watson's Kentwood, La. property on Feb. 5.

She left the hospital Feb. 10 and has since fully recovered.
