Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Gilmore Girls and Parenthood actress Lauren Graham is returning to network television in a comedy pilot for Fox.

Graham will star in the upcoming family comedy Linda from HR as Linda an HR employee "whose one bad decision throws her monotonous, unfulfilled life into an exciting but dangerous tailspin of balancing work life, home life and a secret that could unravel everything."

The pilot, which was picked up pending casting, was one of many comedy offers Graham had received.

Graham's casting marks her first return to network television after starring as Sarah Braverman in the NBC family drama Parenthood and then reprising her role as Lorelai Gilmore for Netflix's Gilmore Girls.

Marc Buckland will direct the pilot, which was written and executive produced by Geoff Barbanell and Itai Grunfeld.
