Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart dominate Kids' Choice Awards nominations

Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Justin Timberlake and Kevin Hart lead the pack with seven and six nominations each for Nickelodeon's upcoming 2017 Kids' Choice Awards.

Timberlake is nominated four times across different music categories including Favorite Male Singer, Favorite Song and Music Video for "Can't Stop the Feeling!" and Favorite Soundtrack for the singer's film Trolls.

The animated feature earned Timberlake the remainder of his nominations including Favorite Animated Movie, Favorite Voice From An Animated Movie and Favorite Frenemies alongside Trolls co-star Anna Kendrick.

Hart meanwhile was recognized multiple times for his work on animated film The Secret Life of Pets as he vies for orange blimps in categories such as Favorite Animated Movie, Favorite Voice From An Animated Movie, Favorite Villain and Most Wanted Pet.

The comedian was also nominated twice in the BFF's (Best Friends Forever) category alongside Dwayne Johnson for Central Intelligence and Ice Cube for Ride Along 2.

Other nominees include Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Daya, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Megan Fox, Lukas Graham, Scarlett Johansson, Felicity Jones, Leslie Jones, Anna Kendrick, Bruno Mars, Melissa McCarthy, JoJo Siwa, The Chainsmokers, Twenty One Pilots and more.

For films, superhero epics Captain America: Civil War leads with eight nominations with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice following close behind with seven.

In television, a number of new nominees have entered the awards show including Black-ish, Fuller House, Supergirl, Paradise Run and The Loud House.

Winners will be voted on by kids who will cast their ballots through Twitter and Facebook using special Kids' Choice Awards hashtags.

Hosted by WWE Superstar John Cena, the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards is set to air live from Los Angeles on March 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
