Melanie Griffith honors her mom Tippi Hedren for her 87th birthday

Actress Melanie Griffith took to Instagram to honor her mother Tippi Hedren for her 87th birthday.

"My beautiful mother Tippi at 87! Dinner with her grandchildren photo by @jaydoubleyoujay #mymamarocks #mykidsaremylife #weareblessed," Griffith captioned a photo of Hedren smiling and gazing at candles on a cake in a restaurant.

Hedren is best known for her roles in the classic movies The Birds and Marnie. Griffith is famous for her iconic film Working Girl.
