Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Armie Hammer and Elizabeth Chambers welcomed a baby boy over the weekend.

The 30-year-old actor and 34-year-old actress' rep confirmed to Us Weekly that Chambers gave birth to the couple's second child -- a son -- on Sunday, Jan. 15.

"Both Mom and baby are doing great," the spokesperson told the magazine.

Hammer and Chambers had announced the actress' pregnancy during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival in September. The pair married in 2010 and welcomed their first child, daughter Harper, in 2014.

"Armie and Elizabeth are overjoyed with their growing family and daughter Harper is already embracing the role of big sister," a source told People.

Hammer had said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in September that Harper was looking forward to having a younger sibling. He admitted, however, that it might take some time for his daughter to actually settle into the role of big sister.

"She seems to love it now. If you go, 'Where's the baby?' she'll, like, rub mama's belly and kiss her stomach. It's really cute," the star shared. "I think when the new baby comes out it's gonna be a serious adjustment period."

"I don't know if our daughter's just easy or if we've just been winging it in the right way, but we haven't had too much of a plan and it's all kind of gone alright, so we're just kind of going with it," he said.

Hammer is known for the films The Social Network, The Lone Ranger and The Birth of a Nation, and will next star in Free Fire with Brie Larson. Chambers last appeared on the CBS sitcom 2 Broke Girls.
