PARIS, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- French police on Monday detained 16 people suspected in the armed robbery of Kim Kardashian in Paris in October, local prosecutors said.

French prosecutors told CNN the unidentified suspects were detained in the Parisian suburbs in Raincy and Vincenne.

Two masked men dressed as police officers robbed Kardashian at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room. They stole a cell phone, cash and jewelry worth an estimated $10 million. The reality star was physically unharmed in the incident.

The two men gained access to the reality star's hotel room after they forced a concierge alongside three others to open the door.

Kardashian took time off from the spotlight after the incident and returned to social media shortly after the new year started with a family photo featuring husband Kanye West and their children, 3-year-old daughter North and 1-year-old son Saint.

The mother of two is set to discuss the robbery in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In a new promo of the show released by E!, she is seen recalling the events to her family.

"They're going to shoot me in the back," Kardashian is heard recalling to her sisters. "There's no way out. It makes me so upset to think about."
