TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Braun Strowman showcased his unstoppable power Monday on Raw as he annihilated Sami Zayn in an action-packed Last Man Standing match.

The highlight match of the night featured Strowman effectively ending his feud with Zayn as he continued to pummel The Underdog from the Underground outside the ring in order to gain victory with a ten-count.

Never one to give up, Zayn put up a valiant effort against the towering Strowman as he battled The Gift of Destruction throughout the Amalie Arena in Tampa Bay with multiple chairs and kendo sticks. One harrowing sequence even saw Zayn leap onto Strowman in order to send him through two tables but it just wasn't enough.

After the match, Raw general manager Mick Foley, along with medical staff, helped Zayn onto a stretcher which Strowman quickly tossed aside in order to continue his assault.

To close out Raw, wrestling icon Goldberg returned to the red-brand after he impressively defeated Brock Lesnar in mere minutes at Survivor Series and after he had declared his entry into the upcoming Royal Rumble match.

Confident he is going to win the inaugural 30-man Battle Royale to main event WrestleMania for a World Championship, Goldberg confronted Universal Champion Kevin Owens and his best friend Chris Jericho on the first episode of The Kevin Owens Show.

Tired of the duo's usual antics, Goldberg quickly got in the face of Owens after tossing around furniture from the show's set. Suddenly, Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman appeared and again promised his client would get revenge against Goldberg at the Rumble before Roman Reigns appeared to make his presence known.

Reigns then stood before Goldberg during a crowd-pleasing moment and promised he would be champion after he defeats Owens one-on-one at the Rumble.

This prompted the arrival of Strowman who also threw his hat into the Royal Rumble match however, he was quickly taken out by Reigns and Goldberg with a Double-Spear that was able to topple the giant.

The Royal Rumble is set for Jan. 29. Notably, Jericho will be suspended high above the ring in a shark cage as Owens meets Reigns for the Universal Championship to keep him from interfering in the match.
