Soulja Boy attacks Chris Brown on social media over Karrueche Tran

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Soulja Boy has ignited a new feud with Chris Brown on social media over the singer's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

Things first started when Soulja Boy tweeted on Monday, "Chris brown just called me and said he wanna fight me because I liked @karrueche picture on Instagram this [expletive] a [expletive]."

The "Crank That" performer then followed that up with a series of tweets and a video challenging Brown to a fight.

"Aye @chrisbrown pull up [expletive] I'll knock yo [expletive] [expletive] out stop snorting so much coke," Soulja Boy continued.

"That [expletive] @chrisbrown better not tweet [expletive] with his [expletive] [expletive] he called my phone trippin so now I'm trippin," read another.

Brown appeared to ignore the verbal tirade until Tuesday when he posted a series of memes and videos making fun of Soulja Boy on Instagram. "Boy you love me," Brown is heard saying in one clip.

Tran has yet to comment on the drama.
