Howard Stern's sidekick Joey Boots dead at 49

NEW YORK, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- The Howard Stern Show cast-member Joey Boots was found dead in his New York City apartment this weekend.

The New York Post reported the 49-year-old radio personality, whose real is name Joseph Bassolino, was found slumped in front of his computer and declared dead at the scene by first responders.

Bassolino, who suffered from diabetes, is suspected to have died of natural causes. An autopsy will be conducted by the city medical examiner to determine exactly how he died.

CNN, which also confirmed the Wack Packer died in The Bronx Friday, noted the man famous for his catchphrase "Baba Booey," also hosted a weekly, live podcast called The Joey Boots Show.
