JUPITER ISLAND, Fla., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods is introducing his "Mac Daddy" version of Santa Claus.

The 40-year-old professional golfer revealed an unusual Christmas tradition of dressing as a shirtless and sunglass-wearing Santa Claus in a tweet Thursday.

"Xmas tradition that my kids love. Mac Daddy Santa is back! -TW," he captioned a photo of his look.

Woods' post left fans amused and confused, with many sharing their reactions on social media. Fellow golfer Rory McIlroy also remarked on the photo, tweeting, "Wake me up when it's 2017."

"@TigerWoods It's not Christmas until Tiger Woods' nipples show up in your timeline," one person wrote.

"@TigerWoods who is taking this picture? Why didn't they stop this?" another added.

Woods is dad to 9-year-old daughter Sam and 7-year-old son Charlie with ex-wife Elin Nordegren. The couple split in 2009 after it was revealed Woods had cheated, but were on good terms as of September.

"I have moved on and I am in a good place," Nordegren told People. "My relationship with Tiger is centered around our children and we are doing really good -- we really are -- and I am so happy that is the case. He is a great father."

"I'm not going to deny that I went through the wringer," she admitted. "But I don't think I doubted we'd end up here. That was always my dream, that the kids can have two loving parents that show respect for each other. And I feel that's what they have."
