Matthew Bellamy, girlfriend Elle Evans join Kate Hudson in Aspen

ASPEN, Colo., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Matthew Bellamy and girlfriend Elle Evans have linked up with the singer's ex-fiancée, Kate Hudson, in Aspen.

The 38-year-old Muse frontman and 27-year-old model will spend the holidays with Hudson, 37, and her sons on their annual trip to the ski resort town, according to E! News.

Bellamy and Hudson share 5-year-old son Bingham. The actress is also mom to 12-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and shared a photo with her boys Wednesday on Instagram.

"Roasted marshmallows anyone?" she captioned a picture of Bingham and Ryder toasting marshmallows in a roaring fire.

Evans had previously shared a video of her first-ever ski excursion. The model gushed about the experience in the caption, writing, "My first time ever skiing! pretty good for my 2nd day so fun!! #aspen #snowmass #bendandsnap."

Bellamy and Hudson ended their engagement in 2014 after four years of dating. The actress said in the November 2015 issue of Allure that she and Bellamy have remained friends since their split.

"Relationships ending are painful, and you can choose to carry that or you can choose to reframe it," she told the magazine.

"If Matt and I had a great relationship, we would still be together, but we chose to move on because we had different visions of how we wanted to live our lives. That doesn't mean, though, that we can't rebuild something that would be the best thing for the kids," the star added.

Bellamy last released the album Drones with Muse in 2015. Hudson will next star in the Thurgood Marshall biopic Marshall with Chadwick Boseman and Sterling K. Brown.
