LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- Amber Heard is attempting to take Johnny Depp to court over their $7 million divorce settlement.

The 30-year-old actress filed a Request for Order with the Los Angeles Superior Court this week after Depp allegedly failed to make payments, according to E! News.

Heard is also requesting attorney's fees and costs up to $35,435. Additionally, her lawyers claim Depp has failed to meet court-enforced deadlines for various mandates, including the division of personal property and shipping Heard's belongings from his private island in the Bahamas.

The Rum Diaries co-stars reached their divorce settlement in August. Heard announced the same month that she will donate the entire $7 million to her preferred charities, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

"As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves," the actress said at the time.

Depp reportedly agreed to pay Heard directly, but donated $200,000 to the ACLU and Children's Hospital in August. Heard's team later rejected Depp's proposal to donate the rest of the money directly to the charities in installments.

"Johnny is obligated by the settlement to pay Amber, and she in turn will honor her pledges to Children's Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union," Heard's lawyer, Pierce O'Donnell, told People this month.

Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May after less than two years of marriage. She alleged at the time that the actor was abusive, and was granted a restraining order shortly after filing for divorce.
