NEW YORK, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Dancing with the Stars pros Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his fiancee Peta Murgatroyd took to social media Sunday to share their support for DWTS alum Mark Ballas as he stars in play Jersey Boys.
"Couldn't be more proud of @markballas for his role in @jerseyboysbroadway!!!" Chmerkovskiy wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the broadway production's cast performing onstage.
"Here's to many more standing ovations and sold out theaters!!!" he continued alongside a set of hand clapping emojis.
The clip comes after Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd revealed on the photo sharing app that they had been kicked out of their first birthing class earlier in the evening. "@petamurgatroyd did NOT get kicked out of this one," he joked on the Jersey Boys post.
"Lamaz class went......interesting. @petamurgatroyd was the worst student in class, but I don't blame her cause it was a million hours long and we've been shown waaaaaaaay too much stuff! My hair is indicative of the 'stuff' we witnessed," he captioned the video of the couple leaving the class early.
The footage features Chmerkovskiy joking to the camera, "This baby's gonna be a disaster."
Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd announced they were expecting their first child together back in May after they got engaged in December.
