Hilary Duff splits from boyfriend Jason Walsh

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Hilary Duff and boyfriend Jason Walsh have reportedly called it quits.

Sources confirmed to People on Thursday that the 29-year-old actress and Walsh recently broke up after less than a year of dating.

"They weren't on the same page," an insider said. "He wants to move to New York, but her life is in L.A."

Sources told Gossip Cop that Duff and Walsh split last week after their romance "fizzled out." An insider said the pair are "definitely" on good terms about the breakup and will likely remain friends.

Duff and Walsh were first linked in the spring and re-sparked dating rumors in June. The actress confirmed their romance in September during an appearance on Good Day New York.

"We've known each other for a really long time and he's a great guy and we have a lot of fun together. It's nice to have that excitement in my life," she gushed at the time.

The Younger star was previously married to Mike Comrie, and shares 4-year-old son Luca with the retired NHL star. She said on Thursday's episode of The Talk that she feels she gets "pigeonholed" in the media for being a mom.

"I feel like I was judged for having a baby too soon and getting married too soon, and now I'm pigeonholed for being a mom. But then lots of women in the industry who don't have a child yet are judged for not having a child," the star said while discussing actress Jennifer Aniston.
