Coco Austin mourns death of dog Spartacus: 'He was my 1st baby'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Coco Austin is mourning the death of one of her beloved dogs.

The 37-year-old model dedicated an Instagram post to Spartacus, her "one of a kind" pooch with husband Ice-T, after the bulldog died at age six after surgery complications.

"My heart is hurting tremendously. Today Sparty died after knee surgery complications. He was my 1st baby with Ice. There'll never be another dog like him. Everybody that knew him thought he was very human like and so lovable," Austin wrote Sunday.

"His full name was Spartacus The Supermodel.. He was only 6.. I have been crying my brains out I'm shocked! #oneofakind (I will still keep their pages live @spartandmax because Max won't stop posting pics)," she added of her dog Max.

Ice-T and the couple's daughter, Chanel Nicole, also mourned Spartacus on their respective accounts. Austin created a profile for 1-year-old Chanel shortly after her birth and has shared over 280 posts for the toddler.

"Terrible News: This morning I lost my Best Friend.. Spartacus died from a complication after surgery.. He had cancer in his knee.. So sad....." Ice-T wrote.

"I lost my big brother, Spartacus, today after knee surgery... He was a cuddler and a lover.. I had a short time with him here on earth but worth every minute of it," Chanel's post reads.

Austin and Ice-T married in 2002 and welcomed their daughter in November 2015. The model revealed in a blog post for E! in February that she and the 58-year-old actor aren't planning on having more children.

"I'm completely satisfied with my little family right now," she said. "I love it. A second child doesn't even come to mind because I'm all about her. I have to say baby Chanel is like my one and only. I can say that."
