LOS ANGELES, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- First-time mom-to-be Peta Murgatroyd showed off her baby bump in a revealing new photo Thursday. The 30-year-old Australian professional dancer posted a selfie at 33 weeks pregnant after announcing she's expecting with fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"Oiling this buttercup up," she wrote to her 639,000 followers. "33 weeks."
Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy met as pros on Dancing with the Stars in 2011 and got engaged in December 2015. The couple expect their baby to be born in January and plan to marry that summer.
"I'm looking forward to nurturing something and just having the baby be the center of our world," Murgatroyd told People in June after announcing her pregnancy. "I'm looking forward to putting all our energy into this beautiful soul."
Chmerkovskiy gave an update on Murgatroyd following an episode of Dancing with the Stars in September. The 36-year-old dancer said he's making sure spoil the mom-to-be, even though she's proven to be "independent."
"Right now we're figuring out what is going on," he told reporters. "For the longest time, [Peta] was like, 'The body parts are getting bigger!' Or she would have morning sickness ... and she would say, 'What's wrong with me?'"
"Peta's a strong sort of independent character," the star added. "But it's not like, 'Oh, I want this and I want that.' She doesn't voice her needs like that. She's like, 'Just surprise me with spoils.'"
Chmerkovskiy was partnered with television personality Amber Rose on Dancing with the Stars Season 23, but was eliminated on the Oct. 17 episode. The ABC reality competition airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET.
