NEW YORK, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Taylor Swift tops Forbes' list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30, earning a $170 million paycheck in just one year.

The 26-year-old Swift's earnings came from her 1989 World Tour, which netted $200 million just in North America, plus endorsement deals with Diet Coke, Keds, and Apple.

In second place on Forbes' annual ranking is boy band One Direction, with a collective total of $110 million, despite the group's current hiatus.

Soccer star Lionel Messi takes third on the list with an almost $30 million payday, thanks to endorsements from Adidas and Gatorade, among others.

Rounding out the top five are Adele and Rihanna, who earned $80.5 million and $75 million, respectively.

Nearly $20 million separated Rihanna with sixth-place finisher Justin Bieber, who took home $56 million.
