Cudi had checked himself into rehab in October, writing to his fans on Facebook, "I am not at peace."

Before entering into rehab, the rapper had made headlines for calling out Drake and Kanye West on Twitter claiming that they use ghost writers for their songs. "Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them," he said at the time before name dropping Drake and West.

"My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These [expletive] dont give a [expletive] about me. And they aint [expletive] with me," he continued.

After initially telling Cudi to never mention his name again, West then praised Cudi and called him "the most influential artist of the past 10 years."

Drake meanwhile dissed Cudi on his new song "Two Birds One Stone" off his upcoming playlist project More Life rapping "You were the man on the moon / Now you just go through your phases/ Life of the angry and famous."

Cudi has since responded to Drake on Twitter writing, "@Drake Say it to face, [expletive]. You think it's a game. I wanna see you say it to my face. I'll be out soon. Promise."
