NEW YORK, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Corey Hawkins is joining Allison Janney and John Benjamin Hickey in the Broadway revival of John Guare's play Six Degrees of Separation, producers announced Thursday.

Best known for his work in the film Straight Outta Compton and TV's The Walking Dead, Hawkins will soon be seen as the lead in Fox's small-screen thriller 24: Legacy.

In Six Degrees, he will play Paul, "the young con man whose trail of deceit lies at the heart of the play," a press release noted.

Directed by Trip Cullman, the production will begin previews April 5 before opening at the Barrymore Theatre April 25 for a 15-week run, which will last through July 16.
