LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Danielle Jonas delighted fans by posting a first photo with both of her daughters Tuesday.
The 30-year-old wife and mom shared a picture with daughters Alena and Valentina on Instagram after welcoming the latter with husband Kevin Jonas last week.
"First photo with my girls #blessed #Valentina #Alena," she captioned a snapshot of herself snuggling her kids in her hospital bed.
Danielle and Kevin Jonas married in Huntington, N.Y., in 2009, and welcomed Alena in 2014. The 28-year-old singer posted a first photo of Valentina on Sunday after Jonas gave birth to the infant Oct. 27.
"We are so excited to welcome our new baby girl, Valentina Angelina Jonas to the world today. She is healthy and beautiful and we couldn't be happier!" the couple said in a statement to People at the time.
"Alena already can't wait for Valentina to come home and start being a big sister," they added.
Kevin Jonas had said on SiriusXM's Nigel Barker's Gentleman's Code prior to Valentina's birth that he was hoping for another girl. The star himself grew up with three brothers, including Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas.
"I've always just wanted two kids that were both girls, and my wife was like, 'Why?' I'm like, 'Because I've been around boys so much my entire life, that I want to be surrounded by girls," he explained.
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas came to fame as the pop group the Jonas Brothers and have since pursued solo careers. Jonas and Kevin Jonas also starred on the E! series Married to Jonas from 2012 to 2013.
